Walker's Pub: $5.50
Coffee is an enormous industry that furthers our ability to produce and consume. On this particular drink I tipped $1.50, as I can not reasonably complain about my own poor tips at work without tipping excessively. Outside of exhibiting opposition to the mega-corporation Starbucks, buying coffee shows little in terms of buying a brand or lifestyle, instead indicating one would like to buy time, a chance to be in public doing something with the opportunity to people-watch, run in to acquaintances, or legitimately do freelance work. Coffee shops are places for extroverts with less to do than you think.
